NICKELODEON'S NFL WILDCARD GAME 2025

The 2025 Nickelodeon NFL Wild Card Game: Live from Bikini Bottom redefined live sports broadcasting with groundbreaking real-time visual effects and augmented reality. Using Unreal Engine 5.4 and Pixotope, the production integrated iconic Nickelodeon and Paramount characters into live gameplay, with slime cannons, animated graphics, and interactive AR moments like the “Slime Zone” and “CatDog Down and Distance.” As VFX Director, I lead our collaboration across on-site and NYC-based teams to blend Lidar-scanned stadium environments with real time animations, in-camera talent, and a package of 3D and 2D renderings. The broadcast earned multiple industry nominations, including nominations to Sports Emmy for Outstanding Graphic Design and Sports Emmy for Best Live Event.
